OWLS, our outdoor woodland learning scheme runs every Saturday morning during term time and is an educational but fun programme for all ages. It is a great way to spend family time, learning new skills together and having loads of fun!

There is a great mix of play and learning in an inspirational birch woodland environment.

All sessions include woodland games, some unstructured play and a key themed activity each week.

The themed activities will include:

  • Fire
  • Water
  • Woodland Crafts
  • Animal Tracking
  • Outdoor First Aid
  • Bushcraft Skills
  • Use of Tools
  • Outdoor Cooking
  • Natural Navigation

Our OWLS is very much inspired by the ethos of Forest School and most benefit will be gained by regular attendance.

The sessions are designed to improve self esteem and confidence, while engendering a love of nature and being outdoors.

OWLS is suitable for adults and children and family groups are welcome.
